Will MICKE Desk, white, 41 3/8x19 5/8″ fit in a Cupra Formentor VZ 2023?

Width is the easy part of the Formentor VZ's boot. The opening is 39″ wide, and the floor is 39⅜″ at its narrowest, so nothing narrows once a box is through. Height is the tight part, and the reason tall boxes struggle: the opening has 23¼″ of clear height above the loading sill, though the boot is 27½″ tall from its floor, which sits 4⅜″ below the sill. Seats up, the floor gives you 31⅞″ of length. Folding the rear seats is worth 30¾″, for 62⅝″, enough for longer flat packs. Whatever face a box rests on, it has to pass under that 23¼″, so decide which side stands up before you lift it.

The MICKE desk packs into a single box of 44″ × 29¼″ × 4¼″. It is not a long box, but it weighs 61 lb 12 oz, which is a lot to hold in a box only 4¼″ thick. Lying flat, with the 44″ side running front to back, it needs a patch of boot floor 44″ long and 29¼″ wide. The opening then has to take its 29¼″ by 4¼″ end. Standing on its long edge, it is 29¼″ tall, so the opening needs that much height. Treat it as a two-person lift. Take one end each and lift together on a count of three. Set it down slowly, so all that weight never lands on one corner.
