The Captur gives you a compact, upright boot rather than a long one. Behind the rear seats the floor runs about 26 3/8 inches, so tall or square boxes load fine but anything long sits at an angle. The opening is 37 inches wide and 32 1/4 inches tall, and there is a 7 7/8 inch drop from the sill down to the floor, so you lift over a lip then set down. Fold the rear bench and the floor stretches to 56 3/4 inches, a gain of 30 3/8 inches that changes what the car can take. Slide long boxes in low and straight down the 40 1/8 inch centre channel.

The KIVIK sofa comes as three boxes, and the biggest is the problem: 72½ inches long, 37½ inches wide and 19¾ inches deep. That is a long, broad, heavy slab, and the full set weighs 179 lb 9 oz, so this is a two-person lift, not a solo one. A 72½ inch box needs an estate, a large SUV with the seats down, or a van. A hatchback boot will not take it flat. Load the big base box first and lay it flat, then stack the lighter cushion boxes on top, and slide a blanket under the long edge so it does not scuff the sill going in.
