The Audi A3 Sportback boot is wide and square, better for bulk than for length. The opening is 38¼″ wide by 30⅜″ tall, and the narrow part of the floor still holds 39″ across, which is generous for this class. Seats up you get 30⅜″ of floor length, folding the rear bench takes that to 58⅝″, a gain of 28⅜″.
