The Kia Niro 2023 opens wide at 41⅜″ across and 31⅞″ tall, so squeezing a box through the mouth is rarely what stops you. The limit is floor depth. With the rear seats up you get 32⅝″, tight for long boxes, but drop the bench and it stretches to 65⅜″, a gain of 32⅝″. The floor holds 41⅜″ across at its narrowest, so flat packages sit side by side. The load lip is high at 29⅛″ with a 5⅞″ drop to the floor, so lift over the sill, then slide long flat loads in with the seats folded.

One box, 60″ × 15½″ × 2¼″, at 12 lb 8 oz: the DÄNKA is light enough to carry one-handed and long enough to be awkward anyway. Weight is not the problem; length is. A 60″ slab will not sit crosswise in a normal trunk, so it rides diagonally or waits for a folded seat. Nearly any hatchback takes it with the bench down, a wagon or SUV swallows it flat, and it can angle across the rear seat of a sedan in a pinch.
