The C3 Aircross trunk is short on floor and generous on height. The mouth measures 39⅜″ wide by 34¼″ tall, taller than most small SUVs offer, while the seats-up floor is only 28¾″ deep. Fold the bench and the floor grows to 56¼″, a gain of 27½″ that turns a grocery trunk into a usable flat-pack space. Width between the arches is 37⅜″, and the sill sits 27½″ up with a 4⅜″ drop inside. Tall boxes ride upright here better than in rival crossovers; long boxes need the seats down every time.
