The T-Roc gives you a short but usable boot that transforms when you fold it. With the rear seats up the floor runs 30¾ inches deep behind an opening 44½ inches wide and 33⅞ inches tall, so it takes shopping and a couple of cases, not long loads. Drop the bench and the floor stretches to 58¼ inches, a gain of 27½ inches that lets flat-pack furniture in. The floor narrows to 39¾ inches at the back, and the sill sits 30⅜ inches up with an 8⅝ inch drop to the floor. Load heavy boxes onto the sill first, then slide them forward over that drop.

The BRIMNES TV unit ships as two boxes, the bigger one long and thin at 48¾″ by 16¾″ and only 2¼″ deep. That slim profile slides into tight gaps, but at 48¾″ the long box is too long to stand across most boots and the panels will not bend.
